Punjab bureaucracy undergoes major shakeup

Lahore: Punjab Government Reshuffles Deputy Commissioners Across the Province

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Punjab government has made changes to the positions of several Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in the province. The reshuffling aims to bring new leadership and expertise to key administrative roles.

Notable appointments include Syed Moosa Raza as the new Deputy Commissioner of Lahore, Muhammad Waseem as the Deputy Commissioner of Sargodha, and Nadeem Naseer as the Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad. Mansoor Ahmad Khan and Sarosh Fatima Sherazi have also been appointed to important positions in Rajanpur and Khushab respectively.

Furthermore, at the federal level, Hasanat Qureshi has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PEPRA), while several other officers have been reassigned to different roles within the government.

This reshuffle signifies the government’s commitment to promoting efficiency and accountability within the administrative framework, ensuring effective governance and service delivery to the citizens.
