Otedola Donates N5m to Father of Quadruplets

Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola, through his foundation, Femi Otedola Foundation (FOF), has gifted N5 million to Sodiq Olayode, whose wife Abiodun recently gave birth to quadruplets. An X user, identified as James, who is a friend of Sodiq, facilitated the contribution of over N16 million from Nigerians after seeking financial assistance for the couple.

President Bola Tinubu commissioned the first set of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The buses, numbering 20 in the first batch, were produced locally by Innoson Motors, aiming to ease transportation problems in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Kano State Police Command has arrested 873 suspects for alleged robbery, kidnapping, and other crimes during the nationwide protests. The suspects were paraded before newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Kano.

Two businessmen were arraigned before a Chief Magistrates’ Court at Life Camp, Abuja, for allegedly receiving stolen property. The defendants are facing charges of criminal conspiracy, mischief, and dishonesty.

An Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court remanded a 31-year-old security guard, Bashiru Ibrahim, in Kirikiri Correctional Centre for allegedly defiling his neighbor‘s daughter in Lagos. Ibrahim did not take a plea for want of jurisdiction.
