“Former Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte Calls for Italy to Recall Ambassador to Israel in Protest Against War Crimes”
In the aftermath of a deadly Israeli airstrike on the Tabaeen School in Gaza, which killed over 100 Palestinian civilians, former Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has urged Italy to recall its ambassador to Israel in protest of the ongoing war crimes committed by the Netanyahu government.
“We ask the Italian government to recall our ambassador to Tel Aviv in firm protest against the Netanyahu government’s incessant war crimes.”
Conte condemned the atrocities in Gaza, emphasizing the need for action beyond mere condemnations. Angelo Bonelli, leader of the Green Party, has also supported the call for the ambassador’s recall, highlighting the urgent need to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The ongoing genocide in Gaza has drawn international condemnation, with Israel facing scrutiny for its brutal offensive. Thousands of Palestinians have been killed, wounded, or displaced, underscoring the gravity of the situation that demands immediate global intervention.
