In a tragic series of events, at least four Palestinians lost their lives in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, with several others sustaining injuries, according to the Civil Defense Agency.
The attacks targeted homes in Gaza City and the Nuseirat refugee camp. Additional casualties occurred due to Israeli shelling of farmland in Nuseirat and a house in Khan Younis.
Since last October, Israeli actions have resulted in the deaths of nearly 39,800 Palestinians, with over 92,000 others sustaining injuries as reported by local health authorities. The continuous attacks have left Gaza devastated and its residents struggling due to a blockade on basic necessities.
Amidst this dire situation, Israel faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice, with a recent order to halt military operations in Rafah. Over a million Palestinians had sought refuge in Rafah but were invaded on May 6.
The conflict continues to escalate, leaving civilians in fear and uncertainty as violence persists in the region.
