Iranian President Emphasizes Peace and Security in Phone Call with Vatican’s Secretary of State
Iran Press/Iran News: According to Iran Press, Massoud Pezeshkian responded to the phone call of the Vatican’s Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, expressing appreciation for the Vatican’s support for peace, stability, and security worldwide. Pezeshkian called for immediate action to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, including lifting the blockade and providing aid to the people.
He condemned the genocide and killing of innocent women and children in Gaza, as well as the cowardly assassinations in the region. Pezeshkian highlighted Iran’s commitment to peace and security, criticizing the silence of some Western countries in the face of Zionist regime crimes.
Cardinal Parolin conveyed Pope Francis’s congratulations to President Pezeshkian and praised Iran’s efforts for global peace and stability. The Vatican supports Iran’s promotion of interaction and cooperation among countries.
