The “Hadramout Tribal Alliance” in eastern Yemen has implemented a new fixed price for diesel, set at 700 riyals per liter, for all citizens. This decision aims to provide the local market with locally produced diesel at an affordable rate. The alliance plans to enforce this price in all districts of Hadramout province to benefit the people.
By capping the price of diesel, the Hadramout Tribal Alliance believes that the community will see positive outcomes in various aspects of life. The 20-liter gallon will be priced at 14,000 riyals under this new policy, receiving widespread support from the public.
This move comes in response to the government’s successive price hikes on oil derivatives in southern provinces throughout the year. The decision by the alliance seeks to alleviate financial burdens on citizens and ensure access to essential resources.
Yemen Press Agency (YPA) reports on the latest developments in the region, highlighting the impact of the Hadramout Tribal Alliance’s pricing strategy on local communities.
