A conservative watchdog group won a legal battle against the Biden-Harris administration, forcing the CDC to stop deleting employee emails in violation of the Federal Records Act. America First Legal, founded by Stephen Miller, sought CDC records on controversial gender ideology in schools, leading to the injunction. NARA must now recover the emails and halt destruction.
In a news release, AFL criticized the administration’s actions and called for accountability. AFL also filed a lawsuit against HHS for record destruction. AFL’s executive director praised the court order, urging NARA to investigate CDC email deletion policies.
This marks a blow to the CDC, which had faced criticism for its influence in social media policies and vaccine dissent. Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci faced scrutiny for denying suppression of Wuhan lab leak theories. Fox News reached out to CDC, HHS, and NARA for comment.
