Israeli Strike Leaves Dozens Severely Injured in Gaza
On Saturday, an Israeli strike hit a school in Gaza City, leaving most of the injured with severe wounds, including full-body burns and loss of limbs. Dr. Fadel Naeem, the director of Baptist Hospital in the city, described it as one of the most challenging days in the ongoing war, with a significant number of casualties from the “massacre” at Al-Taba’een School. So far, 70 victims have been identified, while others are in critical condition, making identification difficult. The hospital lacks basic medical supplies and blood units, struggling to treat the overwhelming number of patients due to a shortage of medical staff.
Despite appeals to stop hostilities and reach a ceasefire, Israel continues its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in over 100 deaths and several injuries. The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of genocide, ordering an immediate halt to the military operation in Rafah. The situation remains dire as the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian resistance group Hamas continues to escalate.
