Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrike on Gaza City’s al-Tabin school, emphasizing the urgent need to stop the “mass massacres” in the region. The ministry highlighted the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, attributing it to ongoing violations of international law.
The Israeli military claimed that the strike on the school, allegedly used by Hamas operatives, was carried out with precision munitions to minimize civilian casualties. However, local medics and Civil Defense workers reported significant devastation and casualties, contradicting the military’s statements.
Despite conflicting reports, an Israeli military spokesperson denied claims of over 100 Palestinian fatalities. The Health Ministry in Gaza revealed alarming statistics, stating that nearly 40,000 people had been killed and over 90,000 wounded in the ongoing conflict, with 40 Palestinians killed and 140 wounded in the recent 24-hour period.
The situation in Gaza remains critical, with calls for international intervention to address the escalating violence and loss of innocent lives.
