Russia destroys dozens of Ukrainian UAVs in airspace
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 35 Ukrainian UAVs over its territories in regions like Kursk and Voronezh. The ministry foiled attempts by Kiev to launch terrorist attacks using drones and missiles. Ukrainian forces recently crossed into Russian territory, capturing villages in the Kursk Region. However, Russian forces halted their advance, with President Putin calling it a “large-scale provocation.”
The West has been supplying Ukraine with weapons since the start of the conflict in 2022. Russian air defense systems successfully shot down multiple UAVs, preventing further attacks from Ukrainian forces.
