Exciting News for Students and Teachers in Punjab: Two Weekly Holidays Announced!
The government of Punjab has made an important announcement for schools in the province. Starting from August 15, all schools will now have two weekly holidays on Saturdays and Sundays. This decision is aimed at reducing the workload on teachers and providing them with a more balanced schedule.
Along with the new holidays, the Department of School Education Punjab has also released updated school timings. For single-shift schools, classes for male and female students will be held from Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. On Fridays, school hours will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
