Israel’s airstrikes on shelter centers in Gaza have left a devastating toll on displaced Palestinians, with at least 100 people killed in the latest attack on the Al-Taba’een school. The Civil Defense spokesman in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, called for immediate international intervention to stop the massacres against defenseless civilians.
The Israeli offensive on Gaza has continued despite appeals for a cease-fire and hostage exchange agreement. The Government Media Office in Gaza accused Israel of directly targeting displaced civilians during dawn prayers, resulting in a rapid increase in casualties.
Since last October, the Israeli onslaught has claimed nearly 39,700 lives in Gaza following a cross-border attack by Hamas. The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to halt its military operation in Rafah, where over 1 million Palestinians sought refuge before the city was invaded on May 6.
