The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, announced that the helicopters of the Armed Forces are fully prepared to combat wildfires across the country. He emphasized that the country’s institutions should be the first point of contact for helicopter assistance during fire emergencies.
In a Facebook post, Konaković urged responsible individuals to prioritize utilizing national resources before seeking aid from other countries. He highlighted the importance of coordinating efforts and requesting additional support when necessary.
Konaković also mentioned being in constant communication with BiH Minister of Defense Zukan Helez to ensure efficient response to fire incidents.
