Tragedy struck outside São Paulo as a passenger plane crashed, killing all 62 individuals on board. The bodies of the victims, including 34 men and 28 women, have been recovered. The aircraft plummeted 17,000 feet in just one minute after departing from Cascavel towards Guarulhos.
Heartbreaking details have emerged, revealing the loss of a three-year-old girl and her father in the crash. Among the deceased were also three Venezuelans, a Portuguese national, and a family traveling with their pet dog.
The State of São Paulo has declared official mourning for the victims, with preparations underway for a memorial service in Cascavel. Families have been urged to provide medical documentation to facilitate the identification of the deceased.
