President Zardari Celebrates Minorities’ Day by Ensuring Protection and Empowerment
In a special message on Minorities’ Day, President Asif Ali Zardari highlighted Pakistan’s dedication to safeguarding minorities not only in terms of religion but also socially and economically. The day, celebrated globally on August 11, aims to recognize the valuable contributions of minorities towards the country’s development.
Zardari reiterated the commitment made by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to protect the rights and religious freedoms of minorities. He emphasized that minorities in Pakistan are granted full political, economic, and social rights as per the Constitution.
