Palestinian Presidency Blames US for Israel’s Attack on School in Gaza

The recent attack on a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in central Gaza, carried out by Israel, has sparked outrage from the Palestinian Presidency. Spokesperson Nabih Abu Rudeineh condemned the attack and held the US government accountable for the massacre, citing financial, military, and political support provided to Israel.

Over 100 Palestinians were killed in the assault on the Al-Taba’een school, as they were performing morning prayers. The ongoing violence in Gaza has resulted in nearly 39,700 deaths since last October. Despite international appeals for a ceasefire, Israel continues its deadly offensive.

The Palestinian Presidency called on the US to intervene and pressure Israel to adhere to international law, urging an end to the cycle of violence that targets innocent civilians. The spokesperson emphasized the need for accountability and justice in the face of widespread atrocities.

As the situation escalates, the call for peace and humanitarian intervention grows louder, highlighting the urgent need for global solidarity in the pursuit of a peaceful resolution.
