Melbourne teen arrested after fatal crash in Preston

In a shocking incident in Melbourne’s north-east, a BMW and a Mazda were stolen from an address in Pascoe Vale South. Shortly after, the BMW crashed into a motorcycle at an intersection in Preston, resulting in the death of the motorbike rider. The two occupants of the stolen BMW fled the scene, leaving behind a tragic aftermath.

The male rider received immediate CPR from officers, but unfortunately, his life could not be saved. A 16-year-old boy was later arrested and is currently assisting the police with their investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
