Hostages’ families protest at Begin Gate for Gaza deal

Hostages’ families protest at Begin Gate for Gaza deal

Over the weekend, families of hostages in Gaza issued a plea to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a hostage deal to save their loved ones. They highlighted the urgency of the situation, emphasizing that lives are at stake and that a deal must be made now.

The families accused Netanyahu of delaying the process for his own political gain, warning that if a deal is not reached soon, they may only receive the bodies of their loved ones. They called on the negotiation team to prioritize the deal and demanded that the Prime Minister come prepared to close it at an upcoming summit.

Amidst the emotional plea, Danny Elgarat, brother of hostage Itzik Elgarat, stood out with a touching symbol of solidarity, wearing a yellow star marked with the date of his brother’s capture. The families stressed the need for an end to the war in order to secure the safe return of all hostages.
