Shocking news emerged from a graveyard in Korangi as a 40-year-old man was arrested for allegedly digging up a woman’s grave and sexually abusing her corpse. The incident led to the suspect being booked under several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including trespassing on burial places and rape.
The son of the deceased woman filed a complaint stating that he had buried his mother the previous evening, only to find out later that the suspect had violated the grave. Thankfully, locals intervened, and the suspect was taken into custody by the police.
Further investigations revealed the suspect’s disturbing modus operandi of targeting women’s graves at night to commit such heinous acts. He confessed to abusing the corpses of multiple women, previously being apprehended for similar offenses years ago.
Authorities are now awaiting permission from a judicial magistrate to exhume the body for additional probes. This horrific incident serves as a reminder of the need for stringent measures to protect the sanctity of burial grounds and uphold respect for the deceased.
