Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired a meeting to address this pressing issue, with key officials from the Ministry of Health and Finance, as well as authorities in medical procurement and drug regulation in attendance.
The meeting outlined comprehensive measures to ensure a steady supply of essential medicines and pharmaceutical products in the market. The Finance Ministry also committed to providing necessary financial support for procuring raw materials and expanding the production of critical pharmaceuticals throughout the fiscal year 2024-2025.
