A series of explosions shook the al-Shayrat area in eastern Homs province, as reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Initial investigations point to an Israeli airstrike targeting weapon storage depots at the al-Hamarat regiment near the al-Shayrat military airport.
The Syrian Defense Ministry detailed that the aerial attack, originating from northern Lebanon, occurred around 8:55 p.m. local time. The strike resulted in injuries to four soldiers and caused damage to military installations in the central region.
