EU shocked by Israeli strike that killed over 100 Palestinians in Gaza

The High Commissioner of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, has strongly condemned the Israeli army’s attack on a school in Gaza this morning, where at least 100 displaced Palestinians were killed. Borrell expressed his horror at the incident and emphasized that there is no justification for targeting schools and causing such massacres.

He pointed out that this attack is just one of many on schools in Gaza in recent weeks and highlighted the alarming number of civilian casualties in the region, with more than 40,000 Palestinians killed since the start of the conflict. Borrell called for an immediate ceasefire to stop the killing of civilians and secure the release of hostages.

The Gaza Strip government reported that the Al-Taba’een school in Al-Daraj district was hit by Israeli rockets during morning prayers, resulting in the death of over 100 Palestinians. This tragic incident underscores the urgent need for peace and humanitarian intervention in the region.
