A man was shot by police in Queensland after allegedly threatening officers with a knife at Kingaroy Hospital in the rural South Burnett Region.
Police subsequently shot the man, and he was airlifted to Sunshine Coast Hospital for medical treatment.
A crime scene has been established, and the incident is under investigation by the ethical standards command, overseen by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
