Greece is working on new legislation to address the challenges faced by foreign students from non-EU countries who wish to enrol in English-language programs at Greek universities.
The main hindrance is the lengthy process of obtaining student visas, especially for students from non-Schengen zone countries.
The government aims to streamline these procedures to make Greek universities more appealing to international students.
As a result, the Asylum and Migration Minister, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, and Education Minister, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, are collaborating to introduce special provisions in a forthcoming bill this fall.
In an effort to attract more foreign students to Greek universities, the government is taking steps to expedite the visa process for non-EU students. Stay tuned for updates on the new legislation coming this fall. 🌍🎓 #studyinGreece #educationforall\
