The Federal Government of Nigeria has received over 60 hybrid Jet Mover buses to provide affordable and comfortable transport solutions for its citizens. These buses, manufactured by Jet Motor Company, run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
During the handover ceremony in Lagos State, officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Presidential Initiative for Compressed Natural Gas (Pi-CNG) commended the quality and efficiency of the Jet Mover vehicles. They highlighted the government’s commitment to alleviating transportation challenges and cushioning the impact of rising costs in the economy.
The Managing Director of Jet Motor Company, Derek Ewelukwa, emphasized the vehicles’ features, including two CNG tanks with a capacity of 220 liters and a petrol tank with a capacity of 80 liters. These hybrid vehicles can travel up to 300 kilometers seamlessly switching between gas and petrol.
This initiative aims to address the concerns of Nigerians and enhance the transportation sector, providing a more sustainable and efficient mode of travel for the country’s citizens.
