A shocking crime in the Eastern Cape has left the community reeling. A municipal law enforcement officer, aged 30, has been arrested for murder and attempted murder after two bodies were discovered in a car in Quigney, East London. An additional wounded individual was found in a nearby hotel room, sparking a police investigation.
Lieutenant Colonel Siphokazi Mawisa, a police spokesperson, revealed that the bodies with bullet wounds were found in a Nissan Almera parked next to a local hotel. A third injured person was located in a hotel room and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect was initially at large, but was later apprehended after reporting a fraud case at a police station. He is set to appear in court on charges of murder and attempted murder. The tragic incident has shocked the community and raised concerns about safety in the area.
