IRGC will follow Khamenei’s order to ‘punish’ Israel: Iran | Israel-Palestine conflict News

Iran is poised to seek revenge against Israel for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, as ordered by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This statement was confirmed by Ali Fadavi from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, emphasizing that the retaliation will be carried out effectively.

Haniyeh, who was killed in July, was attending the inauguration of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Iran and Hamas have accused Israel of the attack, prompting tensions to escalate in the region.

As the conflict intensifies, the US has also reinforced its military presence in the Middle East, including deploying an aircraft carrier. Amid calls for de-escalation, the US, Qatar, and Egypt have urged Israel and Hamas to resume ceasefire talks in Gaza.

The appointment of Yahya Sinwar as the new leader of Hamas’s political bureau signifies a new phase in negotiations. With uncertainties looming, the region remains on edge as countries navigate diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation.
