An informed security official revealed that there is no difference among high-ranking officials in Iran regarding the decision to seek revenge against the Zionist regime for the assassination of Martyr Ismail Haniyeh. This unity extends to both the president and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), showing a rare consensus in the ruling system. The decision-making process is led by the Supreme National Security Council, headed by the president.
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have both issued strong statements promising a harsh response to the assassination, emphasizing Iran’s commitment to protecting its national sovereignty and avenging the blood of the Palestinian resistance leader.
The IRGC also reaffirmed its determination to punish the “terrorist and adventurist Zionist regime” with a harsh and appropriate response. Despite Israeli media attempts to sow discord among Iranian authorities, the country’s leaders have shown unwavering unity in seeking justice for the martyrdom of Haniyeh.
