China has recently exposed the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) in a detailed report, labeling it as the “white gloves” of the U.S. government. The report highlighted how the NED has been involved in subverting state power, meddling in internal affairs of other nations, and conducting ideological infiltration under the guise of promoting democracy.
Noting the NED’s escalating disruptive actions, the report emphasized the need for countries to recognize its true intentions and defend against its interference. The report also revealed the NED’s ties to CIA covert operations and its significant funding from the U.S. government.
Furthermore, the report exposed how the NED has instigated color revolutions in various countries. The Chinese Foreign Ministry called for a respect for sovereignty and national development paths, criticizing the U.S. for using democracy and human rights as pretexts for interference.
The ministry urged the international community to uphold common values and work towards mutual respect and equality for the progress of humanity.
