30 Russian soldiers killed in Ukrainian raid on Kinburn Spit, military reports

Ukrainian special forces recently carried out a successful raid on the Russian-occupied Kinburn Spit, resulting in the deaths of approximately 30 Russian soldiers and the destruction of six armored vehicles. The operation, which took place at the mouth of the Dnipro River, involved units such as “Chimera,” “Stuhna,” and “Terror,” with support from the Ukrainian Navy.

During the mission, Ukrainian soldiers planted the flag of Ukraine’s military intelligence on Kinburn Spit, as confirmed by military intelligence sources. This raid follows a similar operation on the Tendra Spit, where Ukrainian forces targeted Russian equipment and personnel off the coast of Kherson Oblast.

In response, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have thwarted a Ukrainian sabotage group attempting to land on Kinburn Spit, but provided no evidence to support their claim. This escalation in military activity highlights the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, with Ukrainian forces pushing back against Russian occupation.
