NSPE Partners with Mayor of Housing to Tackle Energy Crisis
The Nigerian Society of Petroleum Engineers (NSPE) has joined forces with the Mayor of Housing, My-ACE China, to address the ongoing energy challenges in the country. This partnership aims to alleviate energy issues, particularly in the housing sector, by implementing renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydro power.
During the NSPE’s annual general meeting in Port Harcourt, Member Patrick Ezenaji highlighted the importance of sustainability and cleaner energy practices. This collaboration is expected to enhance initiatives for cleaner energy production and consumption.
The Mayor of Housing emphasized the significance of cleaner energy in real estate development and expressed his support for the NSPE’s focus on sustainable practices. He envisions creating a sustainable estate with a cleaner environment, similar to Shell’s Residential Area.
As Nigeria embraces cleaner energy solutions, the NSPE and the Mayor of Housing are paving the way for innovative, sustainable developments like the Alesa Highland Sustainable City. This partnership signifies a major step towards a greener, more energy-efficient future in the country.
