Iran Strengthens the Resistance Front Following the Martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh
Iran’s Interim Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani visited the office of Hamas in Tehran and stated that the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, has strengthened the resistance front in Palestine and the region. Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran by the Israeli regime, leading to widespread condemnation from the Islamic world.
Bagheri highlighted Haniyeh’s role as a “child of resistance” and emphasized the bond between the Palestinians and the Iranian nation. He declared Iran’s right to respond to this act of aggression to defend national security and sovereignty.
The Iranian government will utilize legal, political, and media resources to safeguard its rights and national interests, including seeking emergency meetings with international organizations. Bagheri reassured Hamas of Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
During the visit, Hamas’s representative in Iran expressed gratitude for Iran’s support, acknowledging global solidarity for Palestine against Israeli aggression. The martyrdom of Haniyeh has further united the resistance front, aiming for the destruction of Israel.
