Israel’s Actions in Gaza: Minister Calls for International Attention

During a visit to Egypt, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza as crimes against humanity. He highlighted the blocking of aid, targeting of humanitarian workers, and hindering evacuations as part of the genocide occurring in Gaza. Fidan urged the global community to take action and ensure aid reaches Gaza without interference.

Fidan warned that failing to stop the atrocities in Gaza would make everyone complicit in the ongoing genocide. He called on Western countries, especially the US, to break their silence and increase pressure on Israel. The situation at the Rafah Border Gate was also highlighted, with Fidan pointing out the dire conditions faced by Palestinians in need of essential supplies.

During his visit, Fidan met with Egyptian officials and discussed the coordination of humanitarian aid to Gaza. He emphasized Türkiye’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and urged collective efforts to end the genocide and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
