Syria stands in solidarity with Pakistan after devastating floods hit Lahore, extending its deepest condolences to the victims and their families. The heavy rainfall, breaking a 44-year record, caused widespread flooding that resulted in casualties and injuries.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs expressed sympathy for the government and people of Pakistan, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded. Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city, was severely affected by the floods, submerging streets and lands.
