Pakistan’s Commitment to International Collaboration and Foreign Direct Investment
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb reiterated the Pakistani government’s dedication to partnering with international companies and highlighted the importance of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) during a meeting with a delegation led by Executive Vice President Oceania and South Asia PARCO, Mehmet Celepoglu.
The delegation, which included key investor CEO and co-founder of Gunvor Group, Torbjörn Törnqvist, discussed Pakistan’s ongoing energy sector reforms, state-owned enterprise (SOE) reforms, and privatization efforts.
The Finance Minister expressed gratitude for the delegation’s interest in Pakistan’s energy sector and emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering beneficial partnerships with global investors.
Representatives from PARCO and Gunvor Group outlined their current projects and activities in Pakistan, reaffirming their dedication to supporting the country’s energy sector development.
