Kellyanne Conway, a former official in the Trump administration, has registered as a lobbyist for Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk’s foundation. Conway, who served as senior counselor to Trump, faced controversies, including violating the Hatch Act. She will work for the Pinchuk Foundation’s U.K. office, raising awareness about Ukraine’s importance and the fight for freedom.
Conway aims to engage U.S. lawmakers and experts and persuade them to attend the Yalta European Strategy conference in Kyiv. She will be paid $50,000 a month for the collaboration. Pinchuk, a wealthy Ukrainian steel magnate, founded the conference that attracts foreign leaders. Trump’s virtual attendance in 2015 raised scrutiny due to a donation from Pinchuk. Despite the investigation, it was not included in the final report.
Pinchuk’s net worth is around $2 billion, and he previously served in Ukraine’s parliament.
