Israel Returns Bodies of Palestinians Killed in Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that Israel has returned the bodies of nearly 90 Palestinians killed during the military offensive in Gaza. However, the circumstances surrounding these bodies remain unclear, with some suggesting they may have been detainees who were tortured and killed.

Yamen Abu Suleiman, the director of the Palestinian Civil Emergency Service, criticized Israel for providing no information about the deceased individuals, calling it a war crime and a crime against humanity.

Gaza’s Government Media Office accused Israel of “stealing” over 2,000 bodies since October 7, some of which were sent in an inhumane manner. The bodies that were returned will be examined to determine the causes of death before being buried in a mass grave.

Hamas denounced the condition in which the bodies were returned, emphasizing the brutality of the Israeli occupation. Meanwhile, Israeli military has not commented on the return of the bodies, sparking criticism over the lack of a ceasefire deal with Hamas.

As tensions continue to rise in the region, families of the remaining captives demand the return of their loved ones and urge for a comprehensive agreement to end the conflict.
