SNSD President Milorad Dodik criticized the US for attempting to disrupt the functioning of Republika Srpska’s institutions. He stated that despite challenges instigated by the US, RS operates smoothly and will even pay pensions ahead of schedule. Dodik accused Bosniak political representatives of spreading falsehoods to undermine RS.
He highlighted efforts by Americans to isolate RS and expressed defiance against their interference. The US Embassy in BiH defended their investments in the region, emphasizing support for citizens in RS through various sectors. Dodik previously questioned the embassy about the allocation of funds in the area.
US aid has contributed to the development of RS in areas like economy, healthcare, energy, and human rights. The embassy reassured ongoing assistance to municipalities and cities in RS. Despite external pressure, SNSD continues to function efficiently and address challenges promptly.
