In a heartwarming gesture of solidarity, eight communities in the Kyiv region have received a generous donation of 12 school buses from the Czech Republic. The donation, facilitated by the Central Bohemian region, was made possible through humanitarian aid efforts.
Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, shared the news of this impactful donation on social media. The school buses were agreed upon during the International Summit of Cities and Regions, emphasizing the importance of education and community support.
Over 600 children in these communities will benefit from the new school buses, addressing a critical need for safe and reliable transportation. Additionally, the region received over UAH 91 million in government funding to further support the purchase of school buses.
This initiative, in partnership with local communities, highlights the commitment to providing essential resources for education in Ukraine. As the new academic year approaches, these school buses will play a vital role in ensuring access to education for children across the Kyiv region.\
