Four Israeli reservists from the 205th Brigade’s 9215th Battalion were seriously injured by a grenade explosion during combat operations in the southern Gaza Strip, as reported by the IDF. The injured soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment, with their families notified. Additionally, two reservists sustained moderate injuries, and another soldier was lightly injured in the incident.
A terrorist threw a grenade at the troops, prompting them to return fire and neutralize him. In a separate incident, 15 rockets were fired from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in a 37-year-old truck driver sustaining light injuries near Re’em, and a fire breaking out in Ein HaBesor from a rocket explosion.
The IDF successfully intercepted several rocket launches, with impacts reported in the Re’im area and at the Gama Junction. Over the past week, nearly 70 rockets have been launched into Israel from Khan Younis, including from recently vacated IDF areas.
