The Agwatashi Youth Forum of Obi local government, Nasarawa State, has expressed its gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for selecting their community as the site for the federal/state government food security project. In a press statement signed by the forum’s chairman, Samuel Iyima, the youth leader praised the initiative for utilizing over 10,000 hectares of land in Agwatashi for farming, providing opportunities for youth engagement in agriculture and combatting restiveness.
The community pledged full support and readiness to defend the project against any obstacles, emphasizing the significance of such initiatives in enhancing food security nationwide.
