President Yoon congratulated archer Im Si-hyun, who won three gold medals at the Paris Olympics on the 4th,
along with the archery team. President Yoon wrote on Facebook that “from the women’s team 10 consecutive victories, to yesterday’s mixed team victory and today’s individual gold medal, they consistently displayed overwhelming performance as the world’s best archers. He also offered words of encouragement to his younger brother Nam Su-hyun, who won the silver medal, and to his eldest sister Jeon Hoon-young, who gave her all until the last shot. He expressed pride in the athletes sweating and shedding tears, stating that it represents Korea’s struggle and pride toward the top of the world. He concluded by urging the nation to support the national team athletes who are currently striving fiercely.”
