Israel to face severe consequences for violating Iran’s sovereignty

An Iranian judiciary official warns of a more decisive response to Israel’s assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

Kazem Gharibabadi, the Iranian Judiciary chief’s deputy for international affairs and secretary of the High Council for Human Rights, stated that the response to the “Zionist regime” will be severe to prevent future violations of Iran’s sovereignty.

Gharibabadi’s comments come after the recent assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran and the targeting of Fuad Shukr in Beirut by Israel with US support.

He also referenced Israel’s attack on Iran’s embassy in Syria in April, which led to the IRGC’s retaliatory Operation True Promise targeting Israeli military bases in the occupied territories.
