During a meeting with Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in Tehran, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian strongly condemned the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, a guest of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as an act against all international laws. Pezeshkian called it a big mistake of the Zionists and urged all Islamic nations and freedom-loving people to denounce the crime.
Iran plans to respond to the Israeli regime’s actions and criticized Western countries for their double standards on human rights. Pezeshkian expressed optimism for the resumption of relations between Iran and Jordan to enhance cooperation and friendship in the region.
Foreign Minister Safadi conveyed his country’s desire to strengthen ties with Iran and collaborate to establish stability and security in the region. He condemned the Zionist aggression on Gaza and the assassination of Haniyeh, viewing it as an attempt to spread conflict. Safadi discussed ways to expand relations during his visit to Tehran.
