**Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Submarine in Crimea**
The Armed Forces of Ukraine executed a daring operation in Crimea, targeting a Russian submarine and four S-400 missile systems. The attack, conducted in Sevastopol, resulted in the sinking of the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s Rostov-on-Don submarine. This marks the second assault on the submarine during the ongoing conflict.
In addition to damaging the submarine, Ukrainian forces also disabled four Triumph air defense system launchers. The Rostov-on-Don B-237, a Kilo-class submarine capable of deploying Kalibr missiles, was commissioned in 2014. Despite undergoing repairs after a previous attack in 2023, the submarine was destroyed in the recent strike, along with the loss of another major naval vessel.
