The Ukrainian military claims to have sunk a Russian submarine in the port of Sevastopol, Crimea. The attack also damaged a Russian S-400 air defense system. Despite the submarine being part of Russia’s modern fleet, named B-237 “Rostov-on-Don,” Ukraine’s repeated attacks have forced Russia’s fleet to relocate.

Moscow has not commented on the incident.

Russia’s Rostov region declared a state of emergency after Ukrainian drones attacked overnight. Damage was reported in the Morozovsky district, including fires in fuel depots. The Russian military shot down numerous drones, with tensions escalating on both sides.
