Two more charged over arson attack for Wagner on UK Ukraine-linked businesses

In the latest development of an alleged arson plot targeting Ukraine-linked businesses in London, two more men have been charged alongside five others. Dylan Earl, a 20-year-old with connections to Russia’s Wagner mercenary group, was previously charged with orchestrating a blaze at an industrial estate in Leyton. Now, Ugnius Asmena, 19, and Jakeem Barrington Rose, 22, face charges under the U.K. National Security Act for aggravated arson.

According to investigators, Earl recruited individuals to carry out attacks on Ukrainian-related businesses owned by companies like Oddisey and Meest UK. The court documents suggest his ties to the designated terrorist organization, the Wagner Group. Four other men have also been charged in connection with the case. The total number of suspects stands at seven.

The accused were detained and appeared in court on Aug. 3. The police are actively investigating this case, addressing the potential threat posed by hostile activities from foreign states. Stay tuned for further updates on this story.\
