Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced the construction of 100 houses for victims of the Wayanad landslides.
Expressing solidarity through social media, Siddaramaiah pledged support to Kerala in the wake of the tragedy.
Rahul Gandhi appreciated Karnataka’s gesture and thanked them for the support during the challenging times in Wayanad.
The commitment to building houses for landslide victims shows unity and compassion.
Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited the affected area and acknowledged Karnataka’s compassion.
Vadra also thanked Siddaramaiah and Karnataka for their empathy.
The landslide in Wayanad led to 215 casualties and 500 injuries, with ongoing rescue efforts for the missing.
