Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Accelerates Construction of Jinnah Medical Complex
During a review meeting, PM Shehbaz emphasized the need to expedite the construction of the Jinnah Medical Complex to transform it into a state-of-the-art tertiary-level hospital not only for Pakistan but also for the region.
He instructed the concerned department to ensure that the hospital is equipped with modern facilities to cater to patients from all over Pakistan. PM Shehbaz also directed the hiring of expert professionals for the preparation of the hospital’s master plan and procurement of technical equipment.
Despite facing challenges, PM Shehbaz expressed gratitude to the Aga Khan Foundation for their cooperation in the construction of the complex. The meeting attendees were briefed on the progress of construction and cost estimates, with a focus on completing the project transparently and efficiently.
Additionally, PM Shehbaz directed the National Disaster Management Authority to take necessary measures to address the damages caused by heavy rains, emphasizing swift restoration of damaged infrastructure and coordination with relevant authorities.
