Nanotech Solutions to Fight Environmental Hazards: Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru India Nano 2024: A Gateway to Nanotechnology Innovations

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah emphasized the importance of robust international collaboration and the integration of academia, industry, and research to advance nanotechnology in critical areas like food security, healthcare, and waste management. Inaugurating the 13th edition of Bengaluru India Nano, he highlighted the need for a conducive ecosystem for the growth of nanotechnology.

With premier research institutions like the Indian Institute of Science and JNCASR, Bengaluru aims to become the hub of nanotechnology in India. Siddaramaiah stressed the significance of international research collaborations to harness the potential of this emerging technology.

The event featured the felicitation of Prof C N R Rao and the Prof C N R Rao Bengaluru India Nano Science Award presented to Prof Arindam Ghosh for his contributions to nanotechnology. Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar expressed hope for technological solutions to pressing issues like waste management.

Bengaluru India Nano 2024 serves as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business collaborations to address global challenges through nanotechnology innovations.
